At 2203 hours, the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to the 300 Block of Newark Road in New Garden Township for an auto accident with a vehicle reported overturned.

Ambulance 23-1 and Squad 23 made the response and were notified by Chester County Fireboard of a single vehicle accident with the vehicle on its roof with unknown entrapment. When Southern Chester County Regional Police arrived on location, they confirmed the report and had negative entrapment.

Once crews arrived on scene, Fire Police were dispatched to close Newark Road at Buttonwood and Landenberg Roads to provide a safe environment for responders.

Crews secured the vehicle and awaited for Blittersdorf’s Towing to flip the vehicle back over and clear it from the roadway. Once the vehicle was removed, crews cleared the scene and turned it over to police.
