On Tuesday, August 1st, the members of Avondale Fire Company traveled to the Goshen Country Fair for their annual tug of war event. Engine(s) 1 & 2 attended. The first night of events, Avondale took home an automatic win due to an unfortunate forfeit by the opposing team. On Thursday, August 3rd, members from Avondale again traveled to Goshen to pull against the Fame Fire Company - Station 53 of West Chester. Crews held tight, but unfortunately suffered and lost.
