December 24, 2022

AFC had crews staffing the station over night due to icy road conditions. At 0529 hours, crews were alerted to an odor investigation inside of a residence. Engine 23-2 responded within a minute of dispatch and was provided with additional information that the caller was reporting a burning odor in the basement. Chief and Engine 23-2 arrived to a two story single family dwelling with nothing showing. As a precaution, Engine 2's crew stretched a 300' handline to the front door. After further investigation it was proven to be faulty appliances in the basement.

Chief Cole held command of the incident.
