The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Cochranville Fire Company for a reported shed fire on Colton Drive. Engine 23-2 was staffed with 4 upon dispatch. Engine 23-2 arrived as the Second Due Engine supplying Engine 27-2 as the First Due Engine. The chauffeur of Engine 23-2 offloaded 750 gallons of water to supply the scene and re-filled at a nearby hydrant while other crews assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. The fire was placed under control at 1731 hours and Avondale Units cleared soon after.
