History of the Avondale Fire Company

One hundred years ago, the volunteers of the Avondale Fire Company may have responded to as many as five calls in a month during busy times. Today our volunteers will respond to an average of five calls every two days. Our volunteers provide fire and rescue services to Avondale Borough and New Garden, London Britain, Franklin, and West Marlborough Townships. Emergency Medical Service for these areas is provided by the Avondale Fire Company EMS Division utilizing a combination of paid and volunteer personnel.
