Three members from the Avondale Fire Company attended the annual Lancaster 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster City.

Members Zach Knox, Noah Knox and Noah Goldman made the appearance. Participants at the event walked up and down the many stadium steps as if they were ascending the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Each participant also received a badge that they clip onto themselves with one of the many fallen New York City Firefighters who lost their lives on that day.

The event benefits the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation who provide counseling services and programs that help reduce the rates of firefighter injuries and line of duty deaths.
