The Avondale Fire Company was alerted as part of the first alarm tanker task force to assist Cochranville Fire Company on a working barn fire. Tanker 23 responded immediately with Engine 23-2 following behind.

Engine 23-2 set up a fill site and filled 12 tankers for a total of 36,100 gallons of water.

Traffic 23 and Avondale Fire Police were also dispatched to provide traffic control around the fill site for the incoming and outgoing tankers.
